Why choose one-to-one training?

One-to-one training is an effective form of training for ongoing bookkeeping work or one-off tasks. If training a group of people, it’s particularly beneficial for ensuring that everyone learns at a consistent pace and the emphasis is placed on the same information as required.

When learning on a one-to-one or face-to-face basis (even if remotely), there’s also the ability to delve into greater detail about the individual circumstances of your business or organisation.

Our one-to-one trainers are committed to actively listening to you and learning tends to be more student-driven and personal; with a greater degree of openness in the sharing of information and asking of questions.

Combining one-to-one training with online training courses

With National Bookkeeping, you will learn how to use the leading accounting programs (such as Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks) through our highly popular, long-running online training courses — but you also get the benefit of having an experienced expert by your side throughout your learning journey.

Part of your trainer’s role is to help you understand the accounting software in relation to your own particular business. They will help you understand how you can apply the full functionality of the software as it relates to the circumstances of your business.

Training duration

Our training can take the form of a one-off session (half or full day) or you can arrange for ongoing consulting with the bookkeeper or accounting professional for a period that sees you comfortable and competent using the software. We also encourage you to learn with a friend or colleague. Having a ‘study buddy’ to learn with can be a great motivator and you can bounce ideas and feedback off one another.

Our trainers are highly qualified in Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks accounting software among others, and include finance managers, registered BAS agents and accounting degree-qualified accountants and bookkeepers.
