Trevor started his full time working career in the Accounts Department of a big organisation doing Supplier reconciliations and then moved up the corporate accounting ladder. In doing so he defined the procedures for the accuracy and efficiency of the input data with the reconciliation to the General Ledger.

While doing night school Trevor completed the following bookkeeping and accounting qualifications:

  1. Associate Diploma in Accounting,
  2. Bachelor of Business,
  3. Accounting Degree,
  4. Certified Practising Accountant, and recently
  5. Mental Health First Aid.

Small Business Accounting Experience

Not comfortable with the corporate lifestyle, Trevor started his own business and therefore had to setup his own accounting system. He maintained all

  • Balance Sheet,
  • Profit and Loss,
  • Cash Flow schedules,
  • Balance Sheet forecasts, and
  • monitored performance against budget.

Trevor had 2 employees with this business until he sold it and purchased another business using over 150 subcontractors!

Again being an accounting department of one, he had to ensure all invoices and expenses were correctly itemised, paid and allocated correctly in the chart of accounts.

Started his own Bookkeeping Business

Having since sold his small business Trevor started a Bookkeeping business to assist other small to medium sized enterprises.
